On October 22, Sun Shouting, Deputy Secretary of Fengnan District Party Committee of Tangshan City and his delegation visited Yantian Port Group. The two sides reached consensus on issues such as cooperation projects, the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the establishment of communication mechanisms. Relevant leaders of the Group Office, the Port Construction Office, the Investment and Development Department, the Planning and Construction Department and Shenzhen Yantian Bonded Zone Investment and Development Ltd., attended the meeting.

      The two sides discussed the promotion of port planning and logistics industry cooperation between them, and conducted preliminary communication on projects such as the sea-rail combined transport of the import and export of steel, coal and ore, and the supply chain finance.

   Sun Shouting fully recognized Yantian Port Group’s port and shipping industrial strength, diversified industrial layout and its development during the recent three decades. He said, with the in-depth implementation of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Strategy and the accelerated promotion of building Tangshan into a strong international coastal city, the huge potential of Fengnan District such as advantageous location, rich land resources and good platform is playing a more and more important role in the development of the district. He invited the host to visit Fengnan and looked forward to an in-depth cooperation between the two sides.
